  If you're looking for your home away from home on Glacier National Park's stunning east side, you've found it. Most of the iconic hiking in the park is on the east side, and staying at the Park Cabin Co. ensures you're spending your time on the trails and not in the car trying to get to them! The views from this property are stunning and the owners are gracious and very helpful. There's great fishing at Duck Lake just across the street. I stayed in the Chief Mountain House, a historic cabin fully remodeled in 2017, and was able to cook meals for my kids, enjoy a steaming hot shower, and sleep soundly in the silence of rural Montana -- and the brand new queen mattress didn't hurt. My kids especially loved their room with the double bunkbeds. Get your reservations and go hiking!
